AAAAH! This has got to be the most confusing, complicated situation ever and trust me, I have a lot of experience dealing with it (for my friends mostly). First,, you cannot make yourself 'fall in love'. Annoying as it is, it just doesn't work that way. If you do not have true feelings for this guy and you go out with him it is almost guarunteed not to work out well. If you do have feeling for this guy, which it sounds like you might, then go for it, just be careful because sometimes when one person's feeling are much stronger than the others thhey end up getting hurt. In he end, you will have to decide what is more important, a friend or a boyfriend. This is really only a question you know how to answer because it completely depends on your guys relationship. If you really only want to be friends, tell him kindly but firmly. Expect for him to be upset, this is inevitable, and understand that your relationship might not be perfect for a while but eventually you two will become great friends again and you will be glad that you didn't ruin it by dating him when you didn't want to. Whatever decision you make, understand that it is your decision, not his or your friend's. Well the options are kinda obvious, if you do love him, then say yes. If you don't , then say no. But if you say yes, don't take it to fast. Start out small and easy. Don't go randomly around hugging him whenever you see him.
