How often should i text a friend(girl) that i like?

i used to talk with one of my friends, and this girl i like on facebook, but she told me that she preferred to be contacted via text because she has no internet. so she gave me her phone number. i've had 2 conversations with her via text. they've for the most part been positive. the thing is she has a boyfriend, but they aren't very serious.

First off ask here how it is going with her boy friend and if she say something negative talk more about it and try to get her to give details and if she say she is gone break up with him text her alot!!! depends on your intentions. If she has a boyfriend then probably never.





If you are prepared to be just friends then every now and again is just fine-





What do you mean by positive? She gave her number out to you so she is prepared for you to use it but don't make her regret it- don't make life difficult for her and her boyfriend even if they are not serious its not your palce.


If they break up then go for it.





Like I said if you are genuinely interested in being her friend then brief casual texts every now and again is great. Ask her about herself and maybe even catch up in a group situation.
Hmm start a conversation with her maybe 2 or 3 times a day 1 round the morning other around 3 and the next one maybe 6 or 7ish. This is good because its not too much and not too little. You may get lucky and have the conversation with her all day. Happens.

well don't text her just because your bored...girls don't like it when a guys is clingy. and i really hate it when i stop texting somebody and they keep sending messages like HELLO,ARE YOU THERE,and WAKE UP. those get on my nerves allot and make me not want to txt them back...so i would text her in the morning and have a convo and in the evening! hope this helps!
Well since she has a boyfriend you don't want to txt too much or else u might seem clingy but you could probably txt her like every couple days just enough to create small talk so I hope that helped
As long as you have ideas of what to talk about and have minutes and battery on your phone send as much as you want!
