How do you know if you're more than friends? Girl answers please?

I have this friend who I know I'm really into. But I have no idea her feelings. We talk on the phone all the time. When we first met we talked for like 3 hours at a time until 2 am. But now that she's teaching and I'm working and going to school full time, no time for that. Anyway, it just feels like our friendship has changed a bit. No longer the puppy love (getting to know each other) phase, but the comfortable hey what's up phase. Anyway, some nights she'll read to me over the phone. I really like that.... a lot. Her voice is just soothing and can put me to sleep. Do any of you do that to your friends? I don't know we're just sort of like an ';old married couple'; now. Sometimes, almost always, we'll be talking and then there will be just silence. Both of us not talking for a long time. At first it was awkward but now it's comfortable. What do you think? it doesnt mean that because u are friends...that u have to be with each other or talking online or on the phone all the time. maybe she really find u a good friend but not the way u want her to feel towards u.
Just take it slow and things will go on from there. Speand time with each other more. Hang out.
