Do friendship never not get ruined after one tells a girl they like them more than a friend?

I mean I have not stayed friends with any of the girls I have told I like more than a friend or an ex saying they want to stay friends. After saying we like girls more its obvious guys don't want to be just friends. Girls can't even stay friends with girls longer than 2 years. How can they stay friends with a guy? Has anyone been able to stay friends? I know I haven't stayed friends with any girl.Do friendship never not get ruined after one tells a girl they like them more than a friend?
I wouldn't say that you can't stay friends....I would say that things will never be the same, and that you can't go back to the way it was.......Do friendship never not get ruined after one tells a girl they like them more than a friend?
I'm a girls and I have a lot of girl friends that I've been friends with for longer than 2 years. Some of them are old sorority sisters, some are from high school, and some I've randomly met, but we're all really close friends.





I think it would be more awkward to remain friends with someone that you know likes you in a way that you can't reciprocate though.


With that said, even though usually a relationship of any kind, or attempting to start a relationship and failing will end a friendship, that isn't always the case.





I have a couple guy friends that I dated in high school that I'm still very good friends with and one of my ex-boyfriends is in my very close circle of guy and girl friends so it just depends on the situation and how things ended.
Well I'm only 16 but yeah it's possible..Because I just recently broke up with my boyfriend..now exboyfriend...and we are still pretty good friends and I can see us being friends for awhile. We were actually best friends this whole past year and then we dated over the summer but now we broke up but we are cool so yeha...and there is this other guy I told him I liked him but he said he just wanted to be friends and we aren't really close but we still talk and say hi to eachother and stuff . but at the same time i have another ex and i absolutely hate his guts and don't talk to him anymore. so it all really depends on what the person does and that determines whether or not I stay friends with them. I don't know if that helped but hopefully I did. Good luck!
What? I'm still friends with the same girls I met in elementary school and I'm still friends with a guy who's told me that they like me.
I haven't. But for me, being I'm female, it was the other way around.
