I think the best way to show a girl who you are is to talk to her. If she is your friend's girl friend there shouldn't be any problem for you two to talk. You might want to rent a movie your friend likes and invite him and his girl friend to watch it with you. That way you get to know each other while not offending your friend. There is nothing wrong in befriending you friend's girl friend.
