This girl in my class was rude to me...how do i deal with this?

soo i am in high school, and there is this girl in my grade, let's call her ';Macy';...i don't know her very well but i always feel like she tries to start crap up...and i feel like she dislikes me a lot although i haven't done anything to her...like today we all had to go into the gym..and the chairs were set up along long tables...and anyways my friends and i sat at one specific end..and Macy's friend ';Alyssa'; was there as well...anyways when i sat down, apparently Alyssa was talking to me, saying that i took Macy's chair...but i didn't hear her cause i was busy talking to my friend.. honest...then Macy comes (but i didn't see her at that time) ....and apparently she was talking to me....but again i didn't hear her because 1) i was talking to my friend and 2) she didn't address me directly so i had no idea she was talking to me...so then she says ';why did you take my chair? that was really rude...you should say sorry.'; so this time i actually turn around because i hear shouting and because i'm done talking to my friend...and i finally understand what she's saying...so i realize that this was all a misunderstanding...i didn't mean to ignore her/be rude..so i am just about to apologize then she gives me this rude look, says ';whatever';, rolls her eyes and storms out with alyssa...and all day, whenever i'd see her in the halls, she'd give me rude stares and whisper about me..





so my question is, what should i do??? i honestly did mean to be rude.....

That's just high school. Ignore her, roll your eyes back, blow it off, she will stop if you don't act like you care.
you shouldnt care bout what her or any other girl has to say. if it wasnt your intention to be rude and she doesnt see that then who cares bout her!! you do you and she can go ahead and keep being a ******:)

just ignore her. I would be worried if she was like trying to fight you on the spot and cause a lot of drama in front of everyone because some girls are like that. But since she just walked away, let her do what she wants. She'll probably forget by tomorrow or so
